ClockWatch Radio Sync
WWVB Receivers

The Ultralink receivers offered with Radio Sync provide accuracy and precision at an affordable price.  The receivers receive VLF (very low frequency) radio signals broadcast by WWVB operated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).  This accurate time and date information is referenced to the United States Atomic Clock Standard.
Each of these receivers feature:

  • Microprocessor based control
  • Factory tuned internal ferrite loop stick antenna
  • Internal real-time-clock backup
  • Serial connection to Windows computer via COM port
  • Seamless integration with Radio Sync software

Model 325

The Ultralink Model 325 receiver incorporates a high quality ferrite loop stick antenna, factory tuned for maximum sensitivity and selectivity. The receiver uses base band amplification with crystal band pass filtering. A demodulator provides a digital output corresponding to received signal data.

A microcomputer processes WWVB signals, maintains an accurate real time clock and hosts the serial communication interface. Received data is correlated over time to set an internal real-time clock (RTC). The RTC is driven by a precision quartz crystal for continuous accurate time reference. Power circuitry provides internal operating voltages and maintenance.

The 325 comes with a  25 foot interface cable, with a DB9 serial data connector.

Model 333

The Ultralink Model 333 is a general purpose WWVB time code receiver/decoder. It features a display of all broadcast information including UTC time, date, flags, signal readability and strength. This unit also has an analog "S" meter for accurate field strength indication.

The 1pps time signal is also available via a rear panel mounted BNC connector.  The unit is AC powered with 24 hour rechargeable battery backup.

This model is used by NIST engineers for monitoring WWVB. This unit is an ideal time reference for institutional, industrial and commercial applications.

The 333 comes with a  25 foot interface cable, with a DB9 serial data connector and power supply.
