ClockWatch® is compatible with Windows Vista®

ClockWatch, version 4, is compatible with Windows Vista.  Mirroring the change in Windows the changes in ClockWatch deal with primarily display and security issues.

ClockWatch has been redesigned to adopt the Windows XP/Vista style.  This gives the screen a softer more contemporary look with softer colors and rounded control outlines of the latest versions of Windows.

In Windows Vista all applications (including ClockWatch) will normally run with regular user privileges, even if started by an administrator. Tasks requiring full Administrative functionality, such as time setting, can be completed by the application sending the request to the ClockWatch service, or by explicitly running the application with system administrator privileges.

As a time setting utility some part of ClockWatch will need to run on Windows Vista with Administrator privileges. This can be done using either the application or the service part of ClockWatch.

• If you are an administrator, you can use either part to set the time.
• If you don't have administrator privileges then you should install and use the ClockWatch service part to perform the time setting function.

We have verified the functionality of ClockWatch Pro, Sentry, Client, Server, Star Sync, Radio Sync, and Cell Sync  running under Windows Vista Home and Business.  All require ClockWatch release v4.0.0 or above.
