ClockWatch, version 4, is compatible with Windows Vista. Mirroring the change in Windows the changes in ClockWatch deal with primarily display and security issues. In Windows Vista all applications (including ClockWatch) will normally run with regular user privileges, even if started by an administrator. Tasks requiring full Administrative functionality, such as time setting, can be completed by the application sending the request to the ClockWatch service, or by explicitly running the application with system administrator privileges. As a time setting utility some part of ClockWatch will need to run on Windows Vista with Administrator privileges. This can be done using either the application or the service part of ClockWatch.
We have verified the functionality of ClockWatch Pro, Sentry, Client, Server, Star Sync, Radio Sync, and Cell Sync running under Windows Vista Home and Business. All require ClockWatch release v4.0.0 or above.
