DocuLog is a powerful, easy-to-use, barcode-based warehouse
logging
system designed to increase the productivity and inventory accuracy of your
warehouse or distribution center. DocuLog utilizes bar codes scanner to perform
any of several warehouse functions,
enabling fast and accurate data collection. DocuLog operates
well as a stand-alone system, or it can work in conjunction with your
existing enterprise system.
With DocuLog you can scan an barcode and record or print a record or label as quickly as it takes to scan the item.

| The DocuLog system normally
has 3 parts: the scanner, the DocuLog application and the printer. The item (or event) is read using a standard barcode scanner with a keyboard wedge. The application logs the event and fixes the exact standard time in the log. The printer prints out a label using a custom label template and fills in the dynamic information including barcode, date and time.

Application Areas Receiving - DocuLog lets you track the receipt of material from vendors or from internal production operations. Incoming packages can be scanned to record accurately the item was received. Bar code labels may be produced for items, containers or pallets. DocuLog creates a file that can be easily imported into enterprise material management systems. Shipping- Packing lists and bar coded labels may be scanned to identify outgoing shipments, items and pick lists. Physical Inventory - DocuLog can be used to count inventory. Perform a stocktake by moving round your warehouse scanning all relevant barcodes (item codes and serial numbers). This information can then be uploaded or transferred to your enterprise system.
