Costing Calls
When costing calls, CallWatch makes several approximations about a call that may affect the accuracy of an individual call's cost.
There are several factors that can change the actual call cost charged by the long distance carrier. These include:

  • Time call was actually answered after call was dialed.

  • Calls spanning different rate periods

  • Billing increments.

  • Volume discounts.

  • Changes in tariffs



Buttons:
      Clear

Clear the selected call or the charges accumulated by the carrier. Use this button if you want to clear the outstanding balance from the CallWatch database for monthly bill reconciliation, for example.  In the call detail mode deletes an individual call record for the call cost database. It does not remove the call record from the call log.

Note: In the Summary mode pressing the Clear button will permanently clear all charges for the selected carrier from the CallWatch database.

      Detail/Summary

Toggle between call detail and carrier summary.

      Print

Prints the current summary or detail report on the printer selected.

Return to main screen.
